Dresden danced colorfully into May with international students from over 20 nationalities from our folk dance course and with our folklore dance ensemble. After the traditional maypole on the Altmarkt in Dresden – erected by carpenters from the region – was danced around with long ribbons, the audience was also able to take part in convivial folk dances. A city with many people and cultures to experience a tradition together with a lot of joy and dance! Afterwards, the folklore dance ensemble presented various dances from its repertoire and created a great atmosphere and a lot of applause. The Dresden Spring Market 2016 was open!
