Our artistic director Maud Butter<\/a> was a guest in Japan from October 7-21, 2017 as part of a six-person delegation of dance experts from the German Federal Dance Association<\/em><\/a> in cooperation with the Japanese Ballet Association<\/em><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Through diverse insights into the entire spectrum of Japanese dance art and dance culture, both professional and amateur, a mutual exchange of experts on dance training structures and dance pedagogical methods was promoted, and sustainable opportunities for cooperation and mutual learning were discussed.<\/p>\n

The exchange program, which is run by theFederal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth<\/em><\/a> The program included impressive visits to traditional Japanese ballet schools, modern dance institutions and dance archives, as well as invitations to the German Embassy Tokyo<\/em><\/a> and the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
