Afterwards, the maypole is festively danced around in a ribbon dance and the 20 m long ribbons are danced and woven. The whole thing is framed by a hearty carpenter&#8217;s clap, a performance by the folklore dance ensemble &#8220;Thea Maass&#8221; from the TU Dresden and sociable dances for spectators.<br \/>\nThe event is organized by the city of Dresden, the Dresden Guild of Carpenters and the folklore dance ensemble &#8220;Thea Maass&#8221; of the TU Dresden.<br \/>\nWe are looking for 30 dance enthusiasts for the ribbon dance, no dance experience is required.
