On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the TU Dresden’s Thea Maass folk dance ensemble celebrated its 75th anniversary with a nearly three-hour performance at the Com\u00f6die Dresden. The festive event was one of the ensemble’s highlights this year.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

More than 400 spectators were thrilled by a colorful journey through choreographies from different regions of Germany. The program included choreographies by Swiss choreographer and dance teacher Aenne Goldschmidt and, of course, by our namesake Thea Maass. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The children’s and youth dance studio of TU Dresden, former TUTE dancers, and the Dresden University Choir added extra color to the stage, making the anniversary a special experience.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
