Folk dance class for everyone \u2013 starting October 23, 2025!"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>Folk dancing may sound a little old-fashioned and dull to some&#8230; but we&#8217;re happy to prove otherwise! With us, you&#8217;ll experience lively, cheerful folk dancing at an artistic level that we demonstrate on a regular basis.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In our folk dance course, regardless of your previous experience, you will learn the basic steps of <strong>polka, waltz, mazurka, Rheinl\u00e4nder, and Dreher<\/strong> over the course of a semester, and how to apply them in a variety of dances. Professional physical training and varied exercises are of course included.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>A special highlight: the entire course is accompanied live by a pianist! This allows you to experience dance and music together and react directly to the piano accompaniment, from warm-ups to complex dances.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>No previous experience or dance partner necessary!<\/strong> Please bring workout clothes; everything else is optional.
