On September 29, the folklore dance ensemble “Thea Maass” of the TU Dresden performed on the market square of Pirna from 2:30 to 4 pm. They showed a small excerpt from their varied repertoire of dances with a lot of joy and enthusiasm. The audience was also encouraged to dance sociable dances themselves under the guidance of dance choreographer and dance teacher Maud Butter and her professional music partner Norbert Munser on the accordion. All age groups danced exuberantly together. The organizers of the harvest festival in Pirna and the audience were very impressed by this special cultural highlight and praised the professionalism of the performance.
