Our folk dance course for the 2025/26 winter semester officially began on Thursday, October 24, 2025!
The “Thea Maass” folklore dance ensemble of TU Dresden is delighted to welcome many new dance enthusiasts. A total of 24 new dancers have joined the group.
Over the next nine training sessions, our new dancers will learn various German social dances and dance steps, including the polka, tampette, and many more.
Together, we want to share the joy of folk dancing and carry on the lively dance tradition.
Anyone who was unable to get a place this time due to high demand is cordially invited to join our maypole project or next year’s folk dance course.
