On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the TU Dresden’s Thea Maass folk dance ensemble celebrated its 75th anniversary with a nearly three-hour performance at the Comödie Dresden. The festive event was one of the ensemble’s highlights this year.
More than 400 spectators were thrilled by a colorful journey through choreographies from different regions of Germany. The program included choreographies by Swiss choreographer and dance teacher Aenne Goldschmidt and, of course, by our namesake Thea Maass.
The children’s and youth dance studio of TU Dresden, former TUTE dancers, and the Dresden University Choir added extra color to the stage, making the anniversary a special experience.
The 75th anniversary celebration was a complete success!
