The members of the Folklore dance ensemble “Thea Maass” of the TU Dresden mourn the death of choreographer and dance teacher Aenne Goldschmidt (08.11.1920 – 24.01.2020).
Aenne Goldschmidt has worked regularly with the ensemble since 1974 and has rehearsed numerous choreographies. With the creation of the Peasants’ War ballad “Die Bauern sind einig worden” in 1983, she developed the generation of dancers at the time into impressive interpreters of this ballad. We are very happy to continue to bring her choreographies to life and are grateful for the many inspiring encounters with Aenne Goldschmidt.
