We are back on the Altmarkt! Our last appearance on the Altmarkt was before the pandemic.
At 27 April 2024 the traditional raising of the maypole by Dresden’s carpenters finally takes place again on Dresden’s Altmarkt after a 4-year break.
After the maypole has been erected, 30 dancers from different countries dance around the maypole. This opens the spring market. Afterwards, the stage program of our ensemble awaits you. This year we will be presenting real spring dances such as “Orakel fragen”, “Wer ist zuerst am Maibaum”, “Hütejungen” and many more…
Between the dances there are sociable dances to join in. All spectators are cordially invited to shake a leg with us.
