Anyone who thinks of the Technical University (TUD) only in terms of lectures and research will be surprised by the university’s artistic and cultural potential. For the first time, TUD will be showcasing this treasure in one day at the Campus Culture Festival on June 25, 2022 from 3 p.m. to midnight. On this day, the campus offers a varied program of music, theater, dance, film, workshops and art. At Weberplatz, August-Bebel-Straße, the Biology Building, the Görges Building and the SLUB, a total of ten TUD artistic university groups will be demonstrating their creativity.
Among them is the TUD’s children’s and youth dance studio, which will not only be demonstrating its skills in a dance performance at the festival, but will also be offering a dance workshop for children aged 7 to 11.
All Dresdeners, from young to old, are invited to spend this summer day on campus and get to know the artistic side of the university or get creative themselves. Admission to the Campus Culture Festival is free. Registration is required to take part in the workshops and guided tours.
