On Saturday, 01.07.2023, the ensemble had a lot to celebrate. The vernissage by Jeb Inge, aptly named Folk, went great and our dancers also performed the entire program beautifully in bright sunshine.
It wasn’t often in the years after Corona that we were allowed to perform our complete repertoire in one piece, so the atmosphere was all the more excited and exuberant. What’s more, many new dancers had their own personal premieres, for example dancer Xueting danced both the Oracle Waltz and the Rural Waltz in front of an audience for the first time, a reason to celebrate.
Maud Butter, our artistic director, led the audience through the program with the charming support of the dancers Bianca Güttner and Lena Pierskalla, who gave the audience small insights into the lives of the dancers and the costume care.
